BIOGRAPHY:
Maria ja Marsialaiset take you on an adventure to the deep center of existence in our galaxy. From the shelter of a diamond-hard music machine, you can safely observe as cops, crooks, and scoundrels outwit each other — just moments before a UFO invasion.
All this and much more comes wrapped in a cozy package, made up of shades of proto-metal, grunge, and bubblegum, with lyrics that nod in a moshing motion toward the playful songwriting traditions of yesteryear.
The band and audience are whipped into shape by Maria Stereo, with explosive vocals and primal drumming. Ninni Luhtasaari makes her lead guitar buzz and howl like no other, while heavy-bass-wielding Noora Federley and riot-guitarist Elissa Määttänen deliver solid rhythms for the people.
